The two prestigious honors arrive as Dr. Kemper prepares to retire on June 30th, marking the conclusion of a distinguished career that has helped to shape the future of osteopathic medical education in Arizona.

Since joining the University, Dr. Kemper has helped oversee AZCOM's growth into Arizona鈥檚 largest medical school, whose graduates play a critical role in addressing regional healthcare needs. Under her leadership, the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine has become a premier institution for holistic, patient-centered training with an expanding portfolio of in-state residency programs.

The recognizes individuals who have made significant career-long contributions to osteopathic medical education and is named for Robert A. Kistner, D.O., who served as a long-time Dean of 九色视频鈥檚 Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine (CCOM). The AOMA Distinguished Service Award honors a physician or non-physician who has significantly contributed to improving the community and promoting osteopathic medicine; donated his/her time and/or efforts to improve mankind; and/or has volunteered his/her time and provided significant contributions and services to the community and/or the Association.
