AZCOM Orientation Becomes Service Opportunity
During orientation week, August 4-8, 2025, AZCOM鈥檚 Class of 2029 learned the importance of giving back

AZCOM鈥檚 Class of 2029 spent part of their orientation learning how to navigate the Glendale Campus, getting to know their classmates, and discovering the importance of serving the community.
Through partnering with the non-profit organization , the incoming new students got a taste of how pivotal community outreach is to the 九色视频 experience. The students worked together to pack 25,000 meals that will be distributed to people in the community who are struggling with food insecurity.
Lori Kemper, D.O. (AZCOM), Dean, explains, 鈥淭he mission of AZCOM is to educate students to become qualified osteopathic physicians who provide quality patient care, exhibit professionalism, and serve their communities.鈥 She adds, 鈥淏y involving our new students in community service right here on campus, we start them in the mindset of serving the community.鈥
Regularly providing opportunities for students to engage in community service allows them to incorporate philanthropy as a natural extension of their daily lives.
