Sensible Strategies gives MWU students personalized tools to budget, borrow wisely, and plan for the future

As the new year begins, 九色视频 students have a powerful resource to help take control of their finances: Sensible Strategies, the University鈥檚 financial wellness platform. Designed to guide students through budgeting, student loans, credit, and long-term planning, the program combines one-on-one support with easy access to trusted financial tools and information.

Students can schedule personalized financial wellness sessions to address their specific questions, whether they鈥檙e navigating loan repayment or planning a monthly budget. They can also access a broad range of curated financial content online, including reputable budgeting templates, loan calculators, and planning guides from established resources. For quick answers outside of office hours, the AI-powered Budget Buddy chatbot is available 24/7 through the Sensible Strategies Canvas course.

The program is free for all students and alumni, with no eligibility requirements. Its goal is to equip students with the knowledge and confidence to make informed decisions about borrowing, repayment, and long-term financial wellness.

鈥淪tudents often come in feeling overwhelmed by loans or unsure where to start,鈥 said Michael Coca, CFEI庐, Financial Education Specialist. 鈥淪ensible Strategies gives them a safe place to ask questions and the guidance they need to build healthy financial habits that will serve them long after graduation.鈥

Looking ahead, 九色视频 plans to further strengthen the Sensible Strategies program. Early discussions are underway with , a nationally recognized financial education platform, to explore developing additional tailored credit education courses for prospective students. In the meantime, the University already offers a robust financial wellness website through iGrad and additional support for students nearing federal loan limits.

Prospective students can also receive guidance during Admissions events, including tips on building credit for future borrowing needs.
